Hi! School: Love On is a Korean teen fantasy-drama about an angel who turns into a mortal human và finds herself in a love-triangle. This high-school K-drama was released in 2015. This drama stars Kim Sae-ron as Lee Seul-bi, Infinite member’s Nam Woo-hyun as Shin Woo-hyun, and Lee Sung-yeol as Sung-yeol.

Nam Woo-hyunas Shin Woo-hyun, is an 18-year-old high school student who is popular, good looking but is failing academically. Kim Sae-ronas Lee Seul-bi, is a nameless, angel who accidentally becomes a human. Lee Sung-yeolas Hwang Sung-yeol, is an 18-year-old high school student who is a loner but a topper at school. Jung Jae-soonas Gong Mal-sook, is Woo-hyun’s paternal grandmother, who raised him as he was abandoned by his mother played by Choi Su-rinas Ahn Ji-hye. She is also a high school Civics teacher, & stepmother of Sung-yeol. Cho Yeon-wooplays the role of Hwang Woo-jin, apoliceman & father of Sung-yeol.
Storyline
Lee Seul-bi is a young angel who guides the soul of the deceased after death & is guided by a đen book that contains names of the soul to be taken. She loves K-dramas và watches over people in her không tính phí time. One such day she goes to take the soul of a high school student but meets with an accident involving Shin Woo-hyun & as a consequence turns into a human. Shin Woo-hyun feels responsible for the accident of Lee Seul-bi, và upon the insistence of his grandmother, asks her to stay at their home.
While being a human, Lee Seul-bi tries khổng lồ understand humanity & gets enrolled in the same school where Woo-hyun & Sung-yeol are studying. The three become friends, however, as the events unfold, both male leads kết thúc up falling in love with her. Later, Woo-hyun discovers that Seul-bi is an angel and she will disappear once her secret is out, so he tries lớn prevent this secret from getting out in public. This drama comprises of 16 episodes và is a must-watch for all those who enjoy watching high school dramas. The story tells an exciting high school life as everyone’s desires are followed by deep secrets. The drama is also high on emotions along with heart-touching OSTs that have deeper meaning. This was my first K-drama that eventually got me interested in K-Pop as well. If you haven’t seen this drama yet, then I would definitely recommend you khổng lồ watch this one.

When I first started watching High School Love On, which feels like a million years ago because that"s how long it took for it khổng lồ air, I thought it was a dễ thương light hearted drama. There wasn"t much plot wise but that didn"t matter because Woohyun, Seul Bi, và Sungyeol were enough to lớn carry the drama with their xinh đẹp moments. But of course lượt thích most dramas they start off good và then the writers forget that the middle of a drama is just as important as the beginning & end.I call this drama the king of circles to lớn my friends. Why? Because this drama goes in circles over & over and over again. The problem is that this drama should have never been over 10 episodes. The writers stretched this plot so thin that most episodes after episode 9 is the characters talking about the same thing without the plot actually moving forward. It stayed inside of a repetitive state that almost became unbearable khổng lồ watch. The only thing that kept me watching was Woohyun and Seul Bi who were the only light in this drama. Also the drama has some of the dumbest plot devices I"ve ever seen.As for the cast, I think they did an okay job. As most of you know this drama stars the young wonderful actress, Kim Sae Ron, và the two hot Infinite band members as her leading boys, Woohyun và Sungyeol. Kim Sae Ron is the strongest actor in this drama. While I bởi think Woohyun & Sungyeol vì need to work on their acting a bit it wasn"t that bad. I think Woohyun was the luckier one in the character choice because his charisma shined through. Sungyeol"s character is one of the oddest characters I"ve ever watched. The writer"s made a complete 180 with his character around the halfway mark và decided to lớn make him the villain. Too bad they forget lớn give him real character motivation to lớn make him a villain. It made Sungyeol"s character hard lớn connect with và at one point I could say I really hated his character. There is a difference between teen angst and just being an asshole. I actually felt bad for Sunyeol (the actor) that he got a character lượt thích this. As much as I started to lớn dislike Sungyeol"s character the worst character lớn me was Angel Sunbae. He is a character with no purpose và almost seems to be used as a tool after a while. He would be gone for 3 episodes and then pop back up just to lớn cause drama. He had no other purpose other than being an asshole. This also lead me to lớn questioning the whole angel society because somebody should be regulating these angels.The writers failed lớn give the rest of their characters any depth too. They had so many students there & it"s a shame that they didn"t use them lớn their advantage. Some of the students had xinh đẹp romances but I felt like they could have built on these characters a lot more. By the way, the adults in this drama act lượt thích children. I have never seen adults act so irresponsible in my life before. They were even more childish then the students were.The strongest part about this drama is the music. I usually don"t pay attention lớn OSTs but this one is very good. It was the best thing about this drama to be honest.As for rewatch value, I give it a 2. I would never go back to lớn watch this drama but if I did it would only be lớn see the beginning of the show.I would only recommend this drama to lớn people who are fans of Infinite or tell them khổng lồ watch the first nine episodes for Seul Bi, Woohyun, & Sungyeol (when they actually had common sense) and then skip to episode 18.This drama lớn me, story and character wise, wasn"t good. Even the dễ thương moments between Seul Bi and Woohyun weren"t enough to make me stop disliking it. The writing was just too repetitive và the characters refused to grow at one point.
